The field of culinary arts is a rapidly growing industry. More and more people are entering the field, holding certain degrees and titles that determine which part of the industry they belong to. And with the ever growing demands for the culinary professionals in today?s tough and competitive job market, more and more culinary arts careers were designed and introduced to the public for people wanting to make a difference in the culinary industry to consider.

The culinary arts career comes in a number of forms. They come in all shapes and sizes and all of them can be considered as an area for continuing education and meeting challenges. For many, it is these challenges actually which make the culinary arts career path truly worth taking.

There are four common areas of culinary arts career. The first has something to do with restaurant related jobs. At this area, food service operations are the most common and it is nice to know that there is a wide selection of positions available to choose from. These positions, however, vary according to how stable and how big the restaurants are. Yes, the restaurants are not created equal. Some are small and individually run, while others are big and owned by professional chefs. There are also much larger operations, including those with multiple outlets, and there are some that offer a corporate setting and service. Well, whatever situation you may be attracted to, the culinary arts career you may find interesting can vary, mostly from chefs to restaurant managers.

Culinary arts careers in hotel and resorts are also available today. The hotel and resort industry is even rapidly growing, and the culinary arts career in this area are continually growing with more and more people entering into the industry. However, with several areas of focus involved in hotels and resorts, the culinary arts career opportunities then differ depending on the specialized service areas and facilities involved. The most common culinary arts careers in this field are butcher and bakeshop attendant or manager.

Third, this is the area for catering and institutional. Many of the establishments that cater into this kind of service tend to offer culinary arts career positions that are full time. They too differ in terms of sizes, but most of the catering and institutional companies are great enough for temporary employment, in case you don?t want full time positions. Although these areas are not always on the cutting edge of culinary, a culinary arts career in this field can still yield great hours and benefits.

Finally, most people find their culinary arts career as a personal chef. This area is in the first place one of the largest components of the foodservice industry, and it?s worth noting that unlike the early days, the personal chef career is not only unlimited to being the chef for a person or family. It is becoming a much complicated culinary arts career now with involvement of everything from shopping to preparing the meals, and even traveling with the client and extending hours of downtime in case the client is away.

Whatever career you may be interested in, it is important to remember that a successful career in culinary arts can?t easily be attained without proper training. It is for this reason that culinary arts schools were established to give people the chance to learn everything about the field and build a career that will prepare them for their life in the future.

In recent years, the number of people touring Egypt has slowly dwindled. This is most likely due to the violence in the Middle Eastern region and the few bombings and kidnappings that have occured in recent years. However, these cases are pretty much isolated, and the thousands of people who visit Egypt every year thoroughly enjoy their experience there.

Egypt is famous for a lot of things, from their exotic perfumes, fine cotton, and the mysteries of mummification and their ancient religion. However, I would like to focus on the architectural and engineering wonders of the Egyptian civilization. When the tribes in Europe and Africa were still building huts and shelters, the Egyptians have already constructed monstrous monuments hundreds of feet in height and width. It is this superiority that has elevated the ancient Egyptian civilization as one of the greatest civilizations in the world.

The Great Pyramids of Giza

By far the most famous of Egypt’s architectural wonders are the 3 Great Pyramids located at Giza, near Cairo. These monuments are hundreds of feet in height, and have survived the test of time for the last 4500 years. There are over a hundred pyramids of various sizes in Egypt, and more in neighboring Sudan. These monuments serve as tombs for the great pharaohs of ancient Egypt, and stand as testimony to the power and influence of these pharaohs.

When you stand at the bottom of the Great Pyramids, looking up at their magnificence, the feeling is indescribable. You begin to wonder just how the ancient people managed to construct this huge structure with only the help of the simple tools available at that time. And this feeling of awe intensifies when you take the opportunity to descend into the pyramids via the original entrances that were used thousands of years ago. When you touch the walls of the now-empty tombs beneath the pyramids, you will feel as if you were there thousands of years ago when the tombs were freshly carved. (One warning: You might not want to enter the pyramids if you are claustrophobic!)

The Sphinx

Next to the Great Pyramids at Giza is the enigmatic Sphinx. A gigantic statue with the head of a man and the body of a lion, the great Sphinx stares silently at the east, perhaps watching the sunrise, or perhaps protecting the great pyramids from whatever evils that may threaten to destroy them. The Sphinx is just as old as the pyramids, aging over 4500 years (or more, depending on which group of archaeologists you believe).

Almost everyone has heard of the Sphinx with its missing nose, and some might wonder how he actually lost his nose. (Do not believe what you saw in the Disney cartoon Aladdin) Almost everyone has seen many pictures, or perhaps the Discovery channel, showing the Sphinx in various angles. But you have to visit it, to stand there right next to it, to realize why both the Sphinx and the Pyramids are the most famous man-made structures in the world. Just the front paw of the Sphinx is larger than a human being!

The Wonders of the Nile

The architectural wonders of ancient Egypt are not limited to those at Giza. As you travel along the Nile River (incidentally the longest river in the world), you will come across other monuments. Chief of these is the Valley of Kings near Luxor. It is here that many kings from many of the ancient Egyptian dynasties were entombed. Each tomb is unqiue and is a wonder in its own right. Unfortunately, most of the treasure that was entombed with the pharaohs have long been stolen by tomb raiders. Only the well-hidden tomb of Tutankhamun managed to survive more or less intact to this day.

Further south, near the town of Aswan, are the famous temples of Abu Simbel. Constructed during the reign of Ramses II, better known as Ramses the Great, these two temples feature much-larger-than-life statues guarding the entrances. And beautiful hieroglyphs still adorn the walls of the temples.

The few monuments I’ve mentioned are just a small fraction of the many wonders that can be found in Egypt. If you have any interest in ancient civilizations, or want to know more about the wonders of ancient Egypt, you owe it to yourself to visit this ancient land before its wonders are eventually swept away by the sands of time.

The French term Lut?ce may not sound familiar but is a name the city of Paris was known by in earlier times. Paris is a popular tourist destination along with being a rich metropolitan city. It is the largest French city along with being the capital of France. The city boasts of innumerable historical avenues, monuments and museums. It is considered to be an architectural wonder and boasts of exquisite eighteenth century heritage buildings and palaces.

Paris was not always as large as it is today. When rail lines were laid out in the 1840′s it allowed migrants to flow into the city. Paris has always been perceived as the city of opportunities and continues to attract tourists, immigrants and people from the suburbs and neighboring cities. After having witnessed two severe bouts of cholera that greatly crippled the city, Paris continued to grow rapidly. Historians suggest Paris has been a part of numerous wars and sieges, along with being governed by foreign rulers.

The city of Paris is densely populated and has a relatively small metropolitan area. Paris has three airports and a comprehensive rail and motorway network. Its rich artistic backdrop is attributed to the humble nature of French noblemen of earlier generation. A number of these men and women were patrons of art. This prompted them to support artwork to an extent that the city boasts of the “Louvre,” which is prided to be amongst the most famous museums. The city rests on the banks of the river Seine and is thought to be home to more that 9.9 million people.

Paris is rated very high amongst fashion houses and boasts of a fast and exciting nightlife. Estimates suggest that Paris caters to more than thirty million visitors annually. Though most would take one trip to the Eiffel tower, the city boasts of many other archaic and architectural wonders that can keep visitors mesmerized for life.

With the support of so many new, state-of-the-art IT technologies that have become available over the last few years, the email services of today are extremely varied and account for a multitude of features such as fast message delivery (promptitude of service), improved accessibility, recall email options and user-friendly interface. Email services that include such facilities are nowadays extremely popular both among home users and a wide range of businesses in search of easy, fast and affordable means of communication. However, what many categories of users still don?t realize is that not all email services that account for the previously mentioned features are also 100 percent reliable nor can guarantee for message privacy and other crucial Internet security issues. High-quality data protection solutions and guaranteed privacy respecting policies are by far the most important features you should check for when choosing an email service-offering company.

Although the Internet is undoubtedly the quickest and the simplest means of communication of today, it may not always be the safest too. It is important to note that although certain existing (particularly free) email services offer great accessibility and competitive GUI ? graphical user interface features, they may actually be weak in areas such as account security and message privacy. In order to ensure that you will also benefit from advanced email security options apart from the regular features, it is crucial to only stick with solid, dependable email services powered and managed by IT professionals with great experience in data security.

Without competitive data protection features, the regular email is an extremely fragile and vulnerable data transport mechanism and an inappropriate tool for users who want to transmit personal, confidential information over the Internet. Only a secure email that respects the latest email privacy policies can guarantee users that their sent or received messages are managed in a completely safe environment.

Home users and organization members who want to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of their information transmitted via email should either opt for popular, reputed free email services (respect a series of standard safety regulations) or paid email services (include reliable, high-quality data protection features in the regular package in exchange for a periodical fee). In order to ensure that the data you send or receive via email is properly protected, you can opt for secure email services with a safety net. These types of email services are solid and dependable, guaranteeing users integrity, safety and confidentiality for the messages they send or receive online.

Once you have found a company that provides competitive secure email services, you should also check if its offer includes a series of effective accessibility options. Apart from email privacy, high-quality email services should include features such as recall email (offers users the possibility to recall ? delete or edit ? unopened emails; this option is very useful in the event of a misaddressed email message), notification that your email message has arrived safely, notification when your message is being read by the recipient, possibility to attach large files to each email message and fast message delivery, to name only a few. Remember to choose carefully among the multitude of email services out there and make sure that the email services of your choice corroborate convenience with advanced data security measures.

This summer is showing all of the signs of being a hot one. Temps have already been hitting the 100′s here in the Midwest. With that kind of heat we have to remember that when we are out there riding, we are at it’s mercy.

When you’re riding the possibility of get dehydrated and hot is substantially increased. Between the heat and the wind it can really zap you. This is especially true if you are taking long trips. I know this first hand. A couple of years ago I went on a ride from St. Louis Mo to Eureka Springs Ar. This was not an exceptionally long ride ( a little over 300 miles), but it was hot. I started the day off just fine. Got a good early start with the rest of the group. By lunch time the temps had hit 100 solid and the humidity was pretty close to the same. We ate lunch and started out again. For about an hour I was keeping up ok, but then I lost the group. They just seemed to vanish on me. I didn’t realize it but it was me who’d got lost. Two more hours of driving around and one of the guys came up beside me. He later told me I was only going about 20 miles per hour and was wobbling all over the road. Luckily he forced me to pull over at the next gas station and stop for awhile. That night I was sick as a dog. Couldn’t hold any food down, suffering from chills, and severe cramps.

Bottom line I was suffering from heat stroke and dehydration. Both of which can be deadly on their own. You can only imagine what could happen on the back of a motorcycle traveling down the highway.

How can dehydration be prevented?
Take precautionary measures to avoid the harmful effects of dehydration, including the following:

Drink plenty of fluids, especially when working or playing in the sun. When riding you can carry a CamelBak that would allow you to drink while riding.

Make sure you are taking in more fluid than you are losing. A good rule of thumb is you should need to urinate everytime you stop.</li

Try to schedule your ride during the cooler parts of the day (early morning and late afternoon)

Drink appropriate sports drinks to help maintain electrolyte balance.

How can heat stroke be prevented?

There are precautions that can help protect you against the adverse effects of heat stroke. These include the following:

Drink plenty of fluids during when on a motorcycle trip, especially on hot days. Water and sports drinks are the drinks of choice. Avoid tea, coffee, soda, and alcohol, as these can lead to dehydration.

Wear lightweight, tightly woven (most T-shirts aren’t), loose-fitting clothing in light colors (don’t think this includes black).

Schedule vigorous activity and sports for cooler times of the day.

Protect yourself from the sun by wearing a bandanna or skull cap (such as our Flydanna , Road Hawg or USA Made doo rags) to keep the sun from landing directly on your head. and sunglasses.

Rest in the shaded or air conditioned area when stopped.
Increase time spent outdoors gradually to get your body used to the heat.

While riding, take frequent drink breaks and keep your body cool by misting with water or using a cooling neck/head wrap to avoid becoming overheated.

Try to spend as much time indoors as possible on very hot and humid days.

If you live in a hot climate and have a chronic condition, talk to your physician about extra precautions you can take to protect yourself against heat stroke.

This has been some information that will keep you safe and allow you to enjoy your riding days a lot more. Be Safe … Enjoy the Ride Tools.

Credit Counselors helps the consumer manage out of control debt thru discipline. The consumer pays a certain amount of money to the Credit Counselors. In return, the Credit Counselors pays the creditors of the consumers for them. The Independent and Non-profit Credit Counselors are two types of Credit Counselors. They offer the same service. The difference is how they get their funding. The banks, credit card companies, and department stores usually give funding to the Non-profit Credit Counselors.

The debt is out of control when the consumer experience one of the following. If the consumer pays the expenses with credit, advances cash to pay bills, loses track of amount owe, gets a call from creditors, or puts off to pay bills, the debt may be out of control. And, the consumer should consider seeking the help of Credit Counselors.

Since the consumer debt now increases to an all time high, the Credit Counselors are even more important than ever. The consumer debt leads to debt crisis. And, many debt crisis leads to relationship breakdown, and health problems. Credit Counselors provides information, recommendation, and support to the different financial options for averting debt crisis.

The different financial options include a debt repayment plan, attainable budget, and money management. The debt repayment plan ensures the satisfaction of debt to creditors. Thereby, the consumer regains good credit rating. The budget must be set realistically to reduce stress. And, the consumer still able to maintains a healthy lifestyle. The money management focuses on how to efficient use the current income to satisfy financial obligations.

Creditors like to see consumer who uses the services of Credit Counselors on times of debt crisis. This shows that the consumer honors the debt. And, the debt will be paid in due time. In debt repayment plan, the consumer pays the Credit Counselors periodically. Then, the Credit Counselors divides the periodic payment amongst the creditors. Beforehand, the Credit Counselors negotiates the payment plan with the creditors on behalf of the consumer. More importantly, the payment plan does not put the consumer into deeper debt crisis.

Debt crisis happens to the best of us. Credit Counselors employs proven method, tools, and skills to combat debt crisis. Thereby, the consumer prevents financial trouble or debt crisis. Statistics shows over eighty percent improve financial situations, and ninety eight percent prevents debt crisis if the consumer seeks credit counseling the first time.

THE MORAL OF reservations has been built on two grounds, which are often mutually contradictory, and yet, mutually complimentary.

In the first quarter of the 19th century the non-Brahman castes, led by the powerful upper other backward classes (OBCs), demanded, and got as well, reservation for non-Brahman castes, which included Dalits as well. The non-Brahman lobby had argued for dismantling the dominance (read monopoly) of Brahmans in government services. The argument about justice was not deployed till then. It later evolved into the anti-Brahman rhetoric. While the anti-Brahman sloganeering brought positive results, as it ended Brahmans? monopoly in government jobs, the movement had an underpinning of negativism, as it harped on anti-Brahman, and not on anti-Brahmanism.

Dr Ambedkar had a radically different theory. To him the untouchables, or today?s Dalits, were a socially stigmatised community, with no rights whatsoever, and hence, the modern republic must draw this social class into the mainstream. Tribals on the other hand, are even demographically segregated, and hence they too must be brought into the mainstream India.

Dr Ambedkar, thus, argued from the moral of justice, seeking an India which would be socially inclusive, an India socially desegregated. The reservation in jobs and educational institutions was taken as one of the fundamental public policy tools. He, however, was concerned about the situation of non-Dwija castes, today known as the OBCs. He made a provision of reservations for them in the constitution and left the task of identifying the OBC castes to the future leadership of India.

To that end, the Kaka Kalekar Commission was set up in 1953, which identified 3,500 castes, but it failed to offer any pragmatic solution. The Janata government was formed in 1977, and in 1978 it set up a Backward Classes Commission, which was headed by B P Mandal. It gave its final recommendation on 31 December 1980, which V P Singh government implemented in August 1991.

The Mandal Commission, however, contained an OBC project for a new India, where the Brahman hegemony would be replaced by the OBC hegemony. Incidentally, the Mandal Commission had only one Dalit member, L R Naik, who had refused to sign the Mandal recommendations. Thus, the commission became controversial from the day it submitted recommendations.

The nation must now ponder over as to why the only Dalit member of the commission refused to sign the Mandal recommendations? Neither V P Singh addressed this riddle, nor is Arjun Singh considering it. We can understand V P Singh?s compulsions. He was faced with a political crisis. He implemented Mandal I to stay in power, which he eventually lost. But, the UPA government does not have any crisis. Yet, it did not bother to consider the dissent of Naik while announcing Mandal II. This riddle has, in fact, never been addressed by the social justice intelligentsia of India.

While refusing to sign the Mandal report Naik gave his reasons in the form of a note of dissent, which Mandal, a Yadav landlord, refused to accommodate. Naik argued in his note that the OBCs are made up of two larger socio-occupational blocks, one related to agriculture and other the artisans and traditional service providers. The traditional, agriculture-related castes, such as Yadav (Mulayam Singh Yadav, Lallu Yadav and Sharad Yadav), Kurmi (Nitish Kumar), Lodh (Kalyan Singh, Uma Bharati), Gujjars (the late Rajesh Pilot), and later Jats (Ajit Singh, Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hudda and the former chief minister Chautala) and their equivalents in the rest of India, became powerful after the abolition of the zamindari system. These castes within the OBCs are called the upper OBCs.

The traditional artisan castes related to craft and service providers are blacksmiths, carpenters, barbers, potters, florists, fisher folk, etc. have remained backwards. These castes constitute about half of the OBC block, and they are now often more backward than Dalits in terms of education and opportunities in jobs or business. These castes are now known as the Most Backward Castes (MBCs).

Naik, while advocating social justice, demanded that the OBC quota be split into two, so that the MBCs could get their share of jobs, which Mandal declined. In return Naik decided to abandon the Mandal Commission.

The Dalits and tribals are India?s traditional social proletariats. But, because of reservations they have now gained a breathing pace in the urban India. As a result of the social changes which have occurred since 1950 in India the rural India has gone in the hands of the upper OBCs and the urban India in the hands of the upper castes or Dwijas. The MBCs are now a new social proletariat, and the entire Mandal belongs to them.

The other social category which has lost out since Independence is the OBC Muslims or the Muslim MBCs. Dalits and tribals, the MBCs, and the Muslim MBCs are the true claimants of reservations today, either through the Mandal Commission or otherwise. India must now draw a new social manifesto and create a crisis-free society.

When it comes to online sunglasses dealers, can you really buy shades for deeply slashed prices without worry of being duped by faceless sellers?

In most instances, the answer is a resounding “yes”, but buyers are always warned to trust their instincts. If you come across the must have set of shades that are at a fantastic price, you may have just found an incredible deal.

However, keep in mind that most designer shades have imitations and copycats that emulate the style without the quality.

Some online sunglasses dealers you find hawking pseudo-designer shades at bargain basement prices are actually selling cheap imitations and making a fortune off of your misfortune.

How can you trust online sunglasses dealers?

The best way to ensure you are getting a great deal is to do your homework.

Know what questions to ask about the sunglasses and do not be afraid to ask questions upfront about imitations or fakes.

Also, check to see if these discount websites have any complaints lodged against them by disgruntled customers who have been sent poor quality shades instead of the real thing.

Furthermore, check competing sites to ensure that the sales advertised are actually a good deal.

Many popular websites that offer designer goodies at discount prices are liquidation sites that work to sell off excess stock at low prices.

Regardless where you choose to purchase your super shades, doing your homework before you buy will ensure you are not duped by paying top dollar for imitations or fakes.

Get the Sunglasses you want at the prices you need. Go find Which Activewear Sunglasses are Right for Me?

Since Paul Cattin and Georges Christian developed the first Oris watch factory in Holstein, Switzerland in 1904, Oris has made countless breakthroughs in achieving numerous milestones in its rich watch-making tradition.

In the minds of watch fans today, the name Oris is synonymous with the mechanical watch. This didn?t just happen by accident. At the end of the 1980s and beginning of the 1990s, when the ?normal? watch consumer was becoming more educated in the ways of mechanical watches, the small watch company, Oris, noted the growing demand and reacted immediately. Oris called upon a rich fund of historical models that reaches back to 1904 that all seemed to have something special about them. There was huge demand for the hand-winding alarm watch outfitted with the AS Caliber 1730 and a carefully modernized 1950s design that captivated an entire generation of mechanical watch consumers. Strongly fueled by the catchy slogan, ?It?s high mech by Oris,? and with just the right mixture of nostalgically designed watches, slightly modified movements and affordable prices, Oris?s position in the market was continually pushed upward. At first the cases were designed with the 1940s in mind and seemed a bit old-fashioned, but today, they are designed with a more contemporary style, and the watches have also been outfitted with some remarkable technical innovations.

Secure in its good nose for the likes and dislikes of its customers, Oris presented models like the Pointer ? with an unusual sweep calendar ? the Complication and the Rectangular. The Worldtimer models, sporting a dial train exclusively developed for Oris, proves that the company also has the technical competence to modify ETA-base movements immensely.

In 2001, Oris combined traditional watch making techniques with modern micro technology by producing collectible pieces such as the Big Crown with a large crown and pointer calendar. Watch collectors around the globe are snatching up the Big Crown BC3, the Big Crown Commander Divers and the classic Big Crown Commander Divers Regulator.

Oris signed an agreement in 2003 to become the exclusive watch partner of the BMW WilliamsF1 Team. The Oris Limited Edition WilliamsF1 Team Chronograph watch was the most successful Oris watch in 2003.

When thinking about the end of a school year, graduation from High School is foremost on everyone?s mind. The excitement of prom is a large portion of the overall picture. Proms bring many decisions and expenses, but the memories you are sure to have far outweigh any dilemmas you might face preparing for the dance.

If you are a guy, a tuxedo rental is not as big an ordeal as if you are a gal looking for that perfectly exquisite prom dress. Prom dresses are a whole other ball of wax. Purchasing a prom dress is a gala event all in itself. It is almost as if the actual prom will seem like a distant dream manifested by the desire to be unique in a prom dress like no other.

There are boutiques that cater to these types of events. There are consignment shops that offer gently worn alternatives to new and more expensive prom dresses. And there is always shopping online. Purchasing a prom dress online has its own set of challenges but is far from an impossible way to find the perfect dress.

From discount outlets to one of a kind originals shopping online for the perfect prom dress can be made simple and affordable with a few easy steps taken in advance. Knowing your size is key. Following each sites guideline to size is essential. There will be charts for each portion of your body so be honest when buying online and you will be comfortable dancing, sitting, and arriving in the prom dress of your dreams.

You can utilize boutiques and consignment shops as well as the major retail stores in your area to scope out the perfect size and style of prom gowns. You have to take into consideration your height and weight. Certain gown styles and colors express certain personalities and it is easy to make a workable match when you have done some background work before prom arrives.

Let?s face it you have a unique body shape. You also have your own hair and eye color. You have special aspects of your body that might need enhancing or camouflaged. A tiny waist or sizable breasts are always workable into the style you choose as well as small breasts or chunky thighs. Prom is one time where every girl can look like the princess she always dreamed she could be.

Taking what you have learned or already know about your tastes in evening attire and school dances and moving them toward online shopping for a prom dress is fun, easy, and always affordable.
